My Back Story

Before I became a copywriter I worked in the medical field. First as a secretary and patient care coordinator for a general surgeon, later as an administrative support specialist in an emergency room, and finally as a dental assistant.

With this background, I know what hurting people are looking for in a medical professional and the challenges they face. I also understand your needs as a healthcare professional and the challenges you face as a business owner and a healer.

Becoming a freelance medical writer was the perfect way for me to continue as a health facilitator with the flexibility of working from home as I raised and educated my three children.

Also, I've witnessed the profound impact holistic care and functional medicine have had on my teenage daughter. Our pediatrician repeatedly provided little help, simply referring us to a specialist who prescribed medications that worsened her condition due to a lack of proper testing to identify the underlying causes.
